French cookery

Not only do they make a delicious dish they also get rewarded at the end of the day by getting to eat it. All teams are evaluated on the presentation and flavour of their dish and subsequently prizes are awarded following tasting by an expert panel of judges.

All Health and safety instructions are given in English but all other teaching points are given in French.

Pupils are encouraged to repeat and recall key vocabulary as well as ask for ingredients and equipment in French.
