Drama
In this activity, pupils are asked to produce a short drama piece in French. The stimulus for the presentation may be linked to an excursion or event during the week, or have a French historical theme. The amount of support or pre-scripted material provided will vary depending on the age and ability of the group.
Seeing pupils using their language skills to stand up and present in a foreign language is an amazing validation of the effort they have put into their language studies and provides real evidence to the children of the power of language immersion. This is yet another of the activities we arrange that leaves children with a real sense of achievement and the feeling that they have done something that they never thought they would be capable of.
This is an ideal activity for schools who are looking for material to prepare for an assembly or presentation to parents on their return to the UK.
