Evening Activities

Most of our schools choose this option for one of the evening meals as it gives pupils the opportunity to experience eating French food in a real French restaurant.

The Relais de Gourmet, is a fabulous local restaurant in Avallon. Lauren and his staff are wonderful hosts and offer a genuinely French restaurant experience for all your pupils and staff.

There is an additional cost for this activity.

No tripto France would be the same without playing a game of pétanque. Our staff explain the rules and then everyone chooses their opponents for the tournament to begin.  Winners of each group take part in a semi-final and then a final where we find the grand winner !

Schools at the Meluzien centre play at the pétanque pitch in central Avallon. Schools based in Lac Sauvin play at the centre but use the pétanque pitch in the hamlet for the final.

This is a team activity which becomes surprisingly competitive. This season we have started a leaderboard.  Can your school be the fastest to complete the puzzle of France ?!

More prizes and a test of French language, music and general knowledge in a fun but competitive environment.

With Elodie and Fadila as our disco queens this is always a big favourite.

Talent Show

If you choose this option, it may be worth warning pupils so that they can prepare and perhaps bring props as appropriate. We love to see what they can do – particularly if there is a French theme.

After a week of ‘full on’ activity this may be an option for a quiet last night. We have a selection of Asterix and Tintin films available in French and English.

Bingo night

A fun way to learn your French numbers !
