Archery

Archery takes place on site and is a big favourite with all our groups. Although our staff have volunteered to act as targets with apples on their heads, we find that it is much safer and more fun to pop as many balloons as possible ! We have facilities to do this activity inside or outside at both centres, so this will happen whatever the weather. Can your school top our archery leaderboard ?!

Health and safety instructions are given in English but all other teaching points are given in French. All directions are given according to training and guidance provided by Archery GB, the Governing Body for the sport of archery in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Pupils are encouraged to repeat and recall key vocabulary throughout the activity.
