Willington School Day 2

— 19 Mar 2013, 10:18 by Maison Claire Fontaine

The morning started with a trip to the UNESCO world heritage site of Vezelay. The weather was rather cold, but the walk up the hill kept us warm and we also kept busy by asking tourists and local shopkeepers lots of questions in French!

In the afternoon we had some more exciting and fun French lessons with Amelie and Fadila and made mosaics with Elodie.

Our final activity in the evening was a game of pètanque with Oscar the grand champion.

A final cup of hot chocolate was very much appreciated before we went to bed for a good nights sleep.
