We had a great afternoon at Maison Claire Fontaine when pupils from the local primary school at Cussy-les-forges came to play rounders with our visiting school Holy Cross Prep.
The weather was fabulous (if a little too hot .... ), but in a break from the sporting activities we enjoyed English tea with scones, cream and jam, cucumber and salad cream sandwiches and a big favourite ...... crumpets and marmite. We also had fun trying out some tongues twisters and virelangues.
Thank you to everyone for helping to make this such a wonderful week and a really rewarding experience. We hope you all keep in touch !
