Day 1:

Today we woke up at about quarter to eight, which was nice after yesterday's early start, although it was quite early! At half past eight, we went to the canteen where we had cereal, bread, hot chocolate, Nutella and some yoghurt which we all mistook for milk.

After breakfast the chef of the table (Immy) cleared away the plates as well as the food (we made a big mess!). When we had cleared the tables, Dijon and Epoisse went to the chapiteau(circus tent) which was great fun! We went on the trapeze, wobble boards (this was the best in our opinion!), ball; on one we had to kneel on it and on another we had to stand on it, but Alex (the supervisor) helped us! Olivier was a inspiring teacher that showed us lots of cool tricks that you can see in the circus.

After the circus, we went back on the coach and the bus driver played really cool music! Then we had chicken and potato balls (Really nice!) with green beans for lunch, finished off with a delicious chocolate mousse!

When we had finished lunch, Dijon did archery with Jonathon. Somehow Kaitlin burst a balloon by shouting "FOR NUTELLA!!"  But we still only got 2 points, the highest amount of points was 23, won by Tyler and Kent.

We had a short break for twenty five minutes or so, in which we went to go and see the three adorable donkeys. We fed them hard bread which had gone off and we thought that they were very slobbery but they were really cute and we named them Eeyore, Patrick and Jeremy. When the break had ended, Dijon had a French lesson on French food that we got to try, geography of France and greetings.

All in all today has been very fun and we can't wait for tomorrow.

Day 2:

This morning we woke up around 7:00 and we got dressed and had a shower then we went downstairs to have breakfast. For breakfast we had cereal and bread with Nutella . After breakfast we went and started our first activities which were either French or baking. In French we learnt a dance which was funny and entertaining!

In baking we made a tartouillat it was scrumptious, however ours didn't taste too good. For lunch we had meatballs with potato cubes it was really nice. Soon after lunch we hopped onto the coach ready for a long and exhilarating coach journey, when we arrived we waddled off the coach and walked up to the castle.

At first sight the castle looked big and impressive it also had a ginormous moat around it. As we got into the castle there were MANY paintings and colourful ceilings in it, as we looked around Jonathon told us a story about the owner and how he was imprisoned in his own home.

Then we had a snack, the snack was orange juice and chocolate cake, I was still hungry because I did not like the meatballs at lunch (Angus).

A while after we played a French game in the maze.

After our historical visit to the castle we went back to the centre and had dinner and had tea and our tartouillat and we lost the competition of best looking and best tasting cake.

Then we had a joyful disco, we did the dance we learnt earlier.

Then we went to sleep.

Day 3:

On Tuesday morning we did a mosaic. Mine was called abstract art (Ben M). I really enjoyed this. I made a French flag (Ben B) which I thought was pretty good but other peoples' looked betterish ....

Then we had another French lesson which involved singing and map work and learning vocab.

In the afternoon we went on a walk where we learnt about the countryside and hunting. Then we had an easter egg hunt which was really fun. Also in the afternoon we played French playground games.

In the evening we went to a lovely restaurant and we had lots of different foods to eat and tried lots of new drinks. We had a very nice meal.  ...  miam.... miam !
