Bienvenue and welcome to the website of Maison Claire Fontaine – the school French language and activity trip specialists based in the beautiful Burgundian countryside en France.

Our two centres are situated just two hours South of Paris in very rural hamlet locations close to the historical town of Avallon. We can be reached very easily and surprisingly quickly by coach from England - always in time for a welcoming dinner and a relaxing first evening.

At Maison Claire Fontaine we are completely focussed on providing amazing French immersion trips in a safe and intimate environment for schools looking for an individual and tailored service. We provide an enthusiastic and energetic focus on the education and personal development of pupils all delivered to the most exacting professional educational standards.

All lessons and activities are led by teachers who are bilingual native French language speakers. All our lessons are designed to maximise the learning opportunities for your pupils. When visiting us schools are the sole users of our facilities with no sharing with other groups. This makes your trip the focus of our full attention for the whole of your stay.

In addition we tailor all our trips to meet the specific goals that you have from the French lesson content through to the activity programme that we arrange. This tailoring is driven by the early establishment of a clear trip objective statement that makes sure all our efforts are focused on the delivery of a successful trip experience to your criteria.

Any school trip abroad takes a lot of work and commitment from teachers and parents and we appreciate the faith and confidence that has been placed in us.
